I thoroughly enjoyed this place! I think this will be my new Thai spot because it's close to my house.
PAD THAI 5/5:
Pad Thai is one of my absolute favorite dishes (yeah I know it's really basic, but sooo good!) I am constantly looking for the best pad Thai in every city. So far this is my top in Garden Grove! It was very flavorful and very saucy, just the way I like it. Tasted more eggy (?) than usual but I still liked it a lot. It's a slightly different style than what I'm used to. Will definitely come back for more!
They have happy hour everyday until 7pm I think so come check it out!
I'm definitely going to try some other stuff next time I come. Their soups look delicious! -

Overall I think my dining experience was very pleasant because the food arrived to our table at a reasonable pace! I hate nothing more than slow kitchen prep when the restaurant is not even busy.
The soup was very delicious with so many aroma to wake up your senses. The perfect blend of coconut milk, sour and savory broth while the shrimp is simmered in the hot soup base is truly a delight to my belly.
The red curry is another winner. The flavor is rich and authentic. I highly recommend this too.
We were promptly seated upon arrival on a weekday and was ecstatic that it's happy hour (ends at 7pm) so the noodle dish was part of the happy hour menu. -

It is such a calming environment. The table is very clean. There are tv provided. There is a restroom. The decor is very cute. It is a small place. It was a hot day but the place is cooling. No WiFi. There are happy hours and special menu. The staff are really nice.
The food does take a while to come out but has really good flavoring. Probably the best flavoring I have tried from a Thai place. I got the pad thai with beef and my fiancé got the boat soup. I had a taste is the boat soup and i enjoy that flavoring as well.
The Free Thai tea flavoring is actually not watered down or too sweet. CHECK IN to get it for free. They do not refill the Thai tea.
The plaza is really busy. It took us a while to look for parking so come early if you are on a time crunch. -

Food was weak, not that great. Bland or blah.
I ordered off the happy hour menu.
Waited about 15-20 min for someone to take my order.
There weren't very many customers just me and 1 other table, but I guess they were focused on alot of TOGO orders.
Pad Mee Gao - wide egg noodles stir fry with vegetables, some chicken.
Chicken fried rice - really bland, but the rice was hard like it was undercooked.
- I went home and recooked it with some onions, garlic and soy sauce
- And steamed up the rice with some low heat to get it all cooked thru
- Tasted much better
Free Thai iced tea with yelp check in.
Their pickled peppers were good.
Service was OK. A little inattentive they don't really scan the restaurant to check on customers. But once they heard what I needed they got me everything I wanted. -

Food are good. Customer service is great. Each section are service by a different waitress.
